STRATEGIES FOR INCREASING CITATION FREQUENCY
Publishing
a high quality paper in scientific journals is only a mid-point towards
receiving future citation. The publishing journey can only completed
through advertising and disseminating publications using “
Research Tools”. Familiarity with
the tools allows researchers increase their h-index in a significantly
short time. H-index shows the academicians influence in the specified
field of research. An academician with a higher level of h-index is
deemed to have publications of higher quality resulting in higher
citations. The number of citations contributes to over 30% in deciding
the university’s ranking; this led researchers to search for effective
methods to increase their citation record. Nader has developed a method
for increasing the research visibility which directly affects the number
of citations.
